Tyson is housebroken and does well with other dogs.  We’ve also been told he is good with children.  He is potty trained and walks well on leash.  He enjoys walking and hanging with his people.  We will update Tyson’s bio, once we learn more about him.  Until then, please enjoy his beautiful pics!  What a handsome boxer boy he is!

Please meet Fassa’s Friend, Maddie. Maddie is a beautiful purebred flashy brindle boxer.  She is approximately 3 years old.  Maddie is current on her vaccines.  She likes other dogs and has been playing with a few fosters and has no problems.  She is roughly 55 lbs.  She is crate trained and is housebroken.  Maddie is somewhat stand-offish when she initially meets new people.  She does however, warm up to you. Braxton is a 1  to 1 1/2 year old, male Boxer mix.  He has a docked tail and natural ears.  His wrinkley little face is just so cute! As most young Boxers and Boxer-mixes, Braxton enjoys playing and with the help of a volunteer, has learned how to play with toys, something he hadn’t obviously been taught in his past, short life.  He is also very content to stay by your side. For this reason, we aren’t requiring a fence for Braxton as long as he is walked several times daily and is included in outings with his people.  Braxton is neutered and is up to date on all vaccines.  Braxton walks well on a leash and is potty trained.  He is a sweet boy with a great termperament.  He is on the smaller side.

Please meet Fassa’s friend, Zoey.  

Zoey is a 4-5 year old white boxer with a docked tail and natural ears.  Although deaf, Zoey is very intelligent and has learned many commands via sign language.  Zoey is as quick to learn as she will be to capture your heart! She is a petite little gal and is very sweet.  Zoey is good with children over 6 years old.  Zoey does well with male dogs, large or small. Zoey doesn’t do well with female dogs, as she wants to be the only “Beautiful Babe” in the pack.  She is not fond of cats either.

She is completely housebroken, crate trained and walks well on leash.  She is a real love bug, really enjoying her people.  She takes treats gently and is not food aggressive.  Zoey has had a rather difficult life, being tied outside in the inner city for most of her life.  Because Zoey is deaf, a physical fence is required for her adoptive home. Zoey’s foster home just adores her and has stated that she fit in instantaneously.  She is being fostered with  a boxer and a boxer mix, both males and a smaller male dog.

Please meet Fassa’s latest friend, Patrick! Patrick is a 2 year old Brindle boxer-mix with natural tail and ears.  He is our St. Patrick’s Day rescue and of course in keeping with tradition, he is being fostered by one of our Irish foster homes!  He appears to be housebroken and very well mannered.  Patrick’s fosters are in the process of teaching him the purpose of toys and how to play.  He is catching on, especially with those toys that squeak.  He is very people oriented, enjoying the company of men and women alike. Infact, so far he hasn’t met a lap he hasn’t liked! Patrick also is quite a kisser, giving his fosters one at each and every opportunity.  He thoroughly enjoys being scratched under the chin. Patrick is a happy guy with non-stop tail wagging and butt wiggling since he arrived at his foster home on 3/24/2012,  He is a strong boy and pulls on leash.  Patrick’s foster home will be working on leash walking with him.  Patrick enjoys long car rides, taking in the sites around him.  He was well behaved at the vets office appearing to be indifferent to other canines around him. Patrick is very calm and easy going.  Because Patrick was found as a stray and we have no history of him with children, we will not adopt him into a home with little children.

Please meet Fassa’s Friend, Honey!  Honey’s foster home just can’t say enough great things about her.  Honey is a 2 year old boxer mix with natural tail and ears.  She is curent on her vaccines.  She has recently had a litter of pups (puppies posted separately). Honey now deserves the “limelight!”  She is a great dog; very sweet, smart and affectionate….what a great combination!  She is completely housebroken and knows her basic commands-come, sit, stay, down, no and drop it. She is doing well on a leash.  While she doesn’t seem too interested in birds or squirrels, she did recently feel the need to make it very clear to a concrete statue of a deer, that she is the boss! She is great with other dogs, large and small. She loves to run and play and plays “fetch”!  Honey will not pass up an opportunity to snuggle, and she loves hanging out with her people.  She will be happiest in an active home where she will get plenty of stimulation, attention and exercise.  She is crate trained, however has graduated recently to the cushy dog bed in the foster parents bedroom, where she sleeps all night quite content. She has shown no signs of food or toy aggression, and she takes treats gently, although the foster family needs to remind her to wait her turn.  One day Honey seized an opportunity to take a resident dog’s treat.  The foster Mom told her, “No!” and she didn’t gobble it down, but rather held it in her mouth. When the foster Mom said, “Drop it!” she spit it right out.  She is not at all sensitive to being touched.  The foster family has touched her tail, feet, toes, ears, belly etc. and she allows the foster home to look at her teeth, with no problem. Honey likes to dig, but will stop when corrected.  Simply put, she is a very smart, all around good girl in need of a great fur-ever home!

Please meet Fassa’s Friend, Hercules!  Hercules is the only male, boxer mix in Honey’s litter.  Hercules is 9 weeks old, and like his sister Harmony, also weighs a whopping 10 lbs. already!  He has natural ears and a natural tail.  He enjoys running and then jumping on you when you sit on the floor  with him.  Her is quite a quick learner and has already mastered going up steps!  He is a happy little boy that loves to play with toys. 

As with all of our puppies, Hercules requires a fenced in yard and Basic Puppy Training.  There is NO exception to either of these requirements.

Please meet Fassa’s friend, Hannah.  Hannah is another of Honey’s pups and weighs in at 8 lbs.  She is a female, 9 week old, boxer-mix with natural tail and ears.  She has been dewormed and will be visiting the vet for her 2nd series of puppy vaccines on 3/3/2012.  Hannah is learning to use the potty pad with great success.  She is the “chatterbox” of the litter  She is an active little girl and what a cutie! 

As with all of our puppies there are two requirements: a) a physically fenced in yard. Because Hannah is a climber, the home that adopts Hannah needs to have a wooden or vinyl privacy fence; NO chainlink! All of our adoptive puppy homes are also required to attend Basic Puppy Training classes.  Training is a great way for human and canine family members to bond.  By attending a Basic Puppy Training course you will enable your puppy to be the best he/she can be. There are NO Exceptions for either of these requirements.

As with all of our young pups, the home interested in adopting Hazel is required to have: a) a physically fenced in yard; and b) a committment to Basic Puppy Training.  A physical fence allows the pup to explore in a safe environment. Basic training provides you and your puppy with the tools you need to enable your new family member to be the best he/she can be.  It also provides a bond between human family and canine family member that is priceless! There are NO Exceptions to either of these requirements!
