Jeter is a 5 1/2 year old fawn male boxer with cropped ears and a docked tail.  Jeter is a well loved, well cared for owner surrender.  As isn’t unusual in this current economic “crunch,” Jeter’s owner has to re-home him because of a change in his life that requires longer workdays.  This leads to Jeter spending 12 hours alone, not the best scenario for a boxer.  Jeter’s person feels Jeter needs to be in a home where he will receive the attention he so deserves.

Jeter is a great guy.  He has lived with a doberman for 4 years and also enjoys the company of a smaller dog several times each week.  There has never been an incident with either of Jeter’s canine friends. Jeter will be fine in a home with another dog, or a home where he is the only dog.  Jeter is also very gentle with young children. welcoming a baby into the family 4 years ago and continues to enjoy the company of this child today.  Jeter knows several commands, such as sit, down, high 5, stay and paw.  He is a happy boxer and enjoys walks and a nice yard in which to romp and run. Jeter is housebroken and doesn’t require a crate when no one is home.  Jeter is the ideal family member for any home with children.  If you would like to meet Jeter to see what a great canine family member he would be, by all means complete an application found at the top of this page under Adoptions.  If you have already completed an application and are approved, please simply email us at fassasfriends@gmail.com and we will gladly set up a meet and greet.

Because Pepper came into rescue as a stray, we have no history of her with children.  For this reason, Pepper cannot be adopted to a home with children under 11 years old.

Pepper is searching for a home that will spend time showing her all the wonderful adventures life has to offer, all the wonderful excursions to the store, on vacations, walks in the dog park…..simply all of the fun and positive aspects of life she has not yet experienced. Tiger Lilly is current on vaccines and also has been spayed. She has been heartworm tested and has tested negative….yeah Tiger Lilly! She is filled with energy and love to give. She is potty trained. Tiger Lilly was fine when left unsupervised for a short period of time in the living room of her foster home. She does however, like to peer out of a window when you leave. Tiger Lilly is in need of some training. She pulls on a leash and from time to time will jump on people.

Tiger Lilly would be in her glory in a fur-ever home that loves the outdoors. She would enjoy hiking, camping, jogging as well as any other outdoor activity. She would also enjoy running in a fenced in yar. Stormy

Please meet Stormy. That’s this brave little girl’s name and it’s also the sotry of her life.  Story was rescued from the streets of Camden by her owner about 4 years ago as a one year old. But the owner couldn’t take care of Stormy the way she deserved and she has spent the most of her past 4 years living out doors, alone, and with little shelter, food or companionship.  her owners surrendered her so she could have a better life. She is a sweet girl who is affectionate and outgoing.  She loves being scratched under the chin, exploring her environment while on her walks, and just lying by your feet.  She is good with young children and has interacted with a 5 year old boy at her last home.  Although she is deaf, she is intelligent and playful. Stormy was dog-tested with a large male boxer mix, a femaled boxer mix and a small 28 lb senior American Eskimo mix. She just wanted to run happily and play with them. She is up to date on all of her shots and is heartworm/lymes negative.

Domino is a beautiful, female Boxer Lab mix.  She’ll be two years old on 12/15/11.  She is spayed and upto date on her vaccines.  Domino finds herself in Rescue because her human Dad and brother and sister are grieving the sudden loss of Domino’s human Mom.  Domino’s family are now away from the home for long periods of time and her human family knows this isn’t right.  Her family knows she needs more attention, time and space than what they are able to provide.  The family has moved to rental property and Domino now has to stay in the basement.  Before this move Domino was able to roam freely.  Domino’s mom was home during the day and the person that had spent the most time with her.  Domino, along with her family have and continue to go through many transitions that have become quite overwhelming.  Domino has been well cared for by her family and is well loved as they realize she deserves more than what they can give her.

Domino is a very active girl and loves to run in a fenced in yard. She would be a great running or walking companion.  She is fully housebroken and is crate trained.  She would be best suited in a home as an only dog.  She knows “sit,” however needs some leash training as she tends to pull. Domino’s favorite toys are a rope toy, ball, and even a stick from the yard.  She would do best in a home where the children are over 10 years old.
