1/2/2017 Update~~ Zoe has moved into a foster home.   A home has opened their doors and their hearts to Zoe.  2017 is proving to be a great year for our Senior Gal!For more on Zoe, see below:

Zoe is an awesome boxer. Zoe is roughly10 years old. She originally entered Fassa’s Friends Rescue in 2010 via NJ SPCA. She was one zoe1of three backyard breeder dogs the SPCA had asked Fassa’s Friends to help. Zoe was adopted to a great home in Dec. 2010. Zoe’s human Dad has passed suddenly, leaving Zoe alone most of the time as her human Mom now has to work long hours. Zoe’s Mom feels so bad for her spending so many hours alone. She said Zoe is still an awesome girl and deserves so much more. Zoe has been well taken care of, and extremely loved. In fact, Zoe had just had her teeth cleaned in September. When she was first adopted in 2010, she lived with a baby (6 mos old), now 6 years old and a middle school aged child, now 17. She is fantastic with children of all ages. A fenced in yard would be great for Zoe. She is in excellent health not any sign of even arthritis. Zoe also knows hand signals for basic commands as she is deaf. She is a large girl weighing in at 91 lbs.

Zoe would be a great companion for a retired person.  Because she is great with children, grandchildren would not be an issue for Zoe. If you are unable to adopt at this time but would like to try fostering Zoe, please complete a foster application found under the tab at the top of this page.  AS a foster, you supply the food, treats & love…Fassa’s Friends supplies all vetting expenses with no out of pocket expense to you.  If you would like to adopt Zoe, please complete an Adoption Application found under the Adoption Tab at the top of this page. Seniors are the most over-looked age group, yet are in my personal opinion, the most phenomenal pets.
