Update: 10-19: Chandler is a very strong, happy & determined 85 lb. boy who needs a firm home.thumbnail He looks for your 11-19picture2 direction & wants to please but will take advantage if allowed. He is a big kissy face who loves to snuggle but thinks he is a tiny lap dog. He has a deep bark, that along with his size & power can be intimidating for those who don’t understand him. Large dog experience & dominance is a must for him. He is a great boy who deserves a loving home to spoil him & continue his training. For prior info red below:
————————————————————————————-Please meet Chandler.  Chandler is another “gentle giant.” He is a 3 1/2 year old, male boxer. Chandler weighs in at 80 lbs.  He has successfully been treated for heart worm and will be available for adoption the first week in June.

WE are told Chandler is great with children toddler age and older.  He is potty trained, Chandler-Jimand walks beautifully on leash and is very strong.  He is also a playful boy…”big goofball,” we are told.  He is good with other dogs and was actually traveling with  a female when he was spotted by Animal Control, and caught as a stray. Chandler enjoys being brushed and pet. He is neutered and current on vaccines.  He appears to be potty trained, having been in an out of state foster home for one day, he hasn’t had an accident. He enjoys eating therefore is highly treat motivated.  The foster is not quite finished evaluating Chandler. As we learn more from the foster home we will update this bio.

If you think you’re a match for Chandler, please complete an Adoption Application found at the top of this page, under the Adoption Tab.  If you are5-5-16 already approved and would like to meet Chandler, simply email us at fassasfriends@gmail.com with your name, approval status and Chandler’s name and we will contact you to set up a meet and greet as soon as possible.  We’ve heard only fantastic comments from shelter personnel, and foster home thus far.  If you think Chandler would like to meet you and become part of your family, please let us know. Let’s find this guy a great fur-ever home.
