Buster Update 2/19/15. Buster had his first vet visit yesterday. The good news is our vet aged Buddy at approximately 7 years old; not 10 as originally thought. Buster also tested positive for Heart worm therefore will begin treatment in few weeks. If you would like to donate towards Buster’s very expensive heart worm treatment please click on the link to our website below. then click on PayPal. If you’d rather send a check please make payable to Fassa’s Friends Boxer Rescue and mail to PO Box 8763, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Thank you! For more information on Buster, see original post below:
He is current on vaccines. Buster has natural ears and a docked tail. Buster’s family had fallen on hard times and have become literally homeless. Fassa’s Friends was asked to step in so that Buster would not be tied outside in 18 degree weather over the Valentine weekend, until the shelter opened on Monday. Buster is a happy man that loves to give kisses to all; toddlers and adults alike. In fact, Buster preferred riding in the car with the 4 year old boy rather than the car with just an adult! Buster is approximately 9-10 years old, however we will ask our vet to age him as he seems younger. He has no health issues and appears younger.
We know Buster does well with smaller dogs as he was living with 2 chihuahua’s (they were re-homed by the owner). We will keep you posted as to how he is with larger dogs. Buster is potty trained. He enjoys car rides either laying on the seat or peering out of the window.
Buster will be a wonderful companion for a family, grandparents who’s grandchildren visit, etc. He is easy going and mild mannered and just a true pleasure. If you would like to meet this fabulous guy, please complete an Adoption Application found at the top of this page under the Adoption Tab. … Buster is patiently waiting for his new family to step up.
