Please meet Levi. Levi is a 1-2 yr old purebred, male Brindle Boxer. He is neutered and current on vaccines. Levi’s story begins in an out of state parking lot where Levi was being hit by his owner. A very concerned person confronted the owner and after a few words, Levi’s owner willingly gave Levi to the the good Samaritan. The good Samaritan then contacted rescues for assistance. Fassa’s Friends Boxer Rescue stepped up and offered assistance. Levi was brought into rescue, and has never looked back! He is a loveable, happy boxer with no signs whatsoever of his past life. He is playful and enjoys his walks and running in the yard. Levi knows the commands “sit” and is learning “wait” when pulling on a leash.
There are chain markings around his neck; evidence of our young Boxer boy being chained outside, however he is completely potty-trained. He will be “packing on a few pounds” at his foster home as he is on the thin side. It is evident that Levi wags his little nub “with his heart” as the docked tail is in perpetual wag mode with your slightest acknowledgement! What a fabulous little boy! He was fostered with multiple dogs and a cat. At this point in time, we believe he is “cat curious.” His traveling buddy on his way to NJ was a cat. He was curious, as if to say “Hey what’s in the carrier?” He is a lady’s man, gravitating toward female canines, more so than males. Levi has not yet been exposed to children.
