Please meet Fassa’s Friend, Mandy! Mandy is a Brindle, Boxer-mix of about 2 years of age. She was found chained to a large gas tank out of state and Fassa’s Friends was contacted immediately. Mandy is gentle, calm, quiet and shy. If you start to pet her, she stays near you so she continues to receive affection. She has clearly not been treated well in the past and longs for a home that will be calm and gentle with her. She seeks out human affection and gentle touching. Mandy seems to be housebroken, walks very well on leash, and seems perfectly fine with dogs and cats. Mandy can be the spoiled single canine member of a home or would be just fine with a calm 4-legged companion.
Mandy is current on vaccines and is heart worm negative. She will be spayed within the next few weeks. Mandy just arrived Sunday, 8/18. She and we, are on the search for a calm fur-ever home for her. Mandy’s idea home will be one that will give her the attention and affection she had clearly lacked in the past. If you
think you’re the perfect, “gem” of a home for our little “diamond in the rough,” please complete and Adoption Application found under the Adoption Tab at the top of the page.
If you’re unable to adopt at this time, but would be interested in fostering, please complete an adoption application and indicate in the last comment your interest in fostering. We will continue to update Mandy’s bio as we learn more about her. As always and extra thanks for your support!
