Meet Fassa’s friend, Alex! Alex is a male, Brindle Boxer/Lab mix with natural tail and ears. He is 9 weeks old. Alex’s emaciated, pregnant Mom (Labrador) and his Boxer Dad were given to a shelter. His Mom was immediately pulled from the shelter and shortly thereafter, Alex and his litter mates were born. Alex’s Mom has been adopted by his foster home, and it is our understanding Alex’s Dad has gone into rescue.
Alex and his litter mates have been in foster care since birth. Alex has received the 3 series of puppy vaccines. He has been de-wormed twice. Alex has a great temperament, he is pleasant and easy-going. Alex, as with all of the pups in this litter, appears to wait to potty until he is outside. Pam, the foster Mom said, they all then run to their respective potty area. Fassa’s Friends sincerely thanks Pam and Dave for offering to foster all 5 pups until we can get them North. Because Luke is so young and has been with his litter mates for 9+ weeks, he is socialized with others and should be fine with cats, exhibiting curiosity more than anything.
As with all of our young puppies, the following is required for Alex:
1. a completely enclosed physical fence (e-fences/underground fencing is not acceptable).
2. FFBR (Fassa’s Friends Boxer Rescue) requires ALL of our very young puppies like Alex, complete a basic puppy training class. Boxers are a high energy breed. Basic Puppy Training teaches YOU how to train your puppy.
Alex and his peeps will be flying in to New Jersey on Tuesday, July 2nd. If you are interested in meeting Alex, please complete an application found at the top of this page Under the Adoption Tab.
