————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

She is a gorgeous, adult reverse brindle Boxer.  She has a docked tail and natural ears.  Tessa’s story is one we’ve all heard many times. She was a breeder, used for the purpose of someone’s financial gain and then abruptly “dumped.”  Our breeding dog rescues to us, are the saddest.  After years of “service” to an owner and then either taken to a shelter or let loose as a stray as an adult or in some cases a senior, is unconscionable, lacking even the smallest bit of compassion! From our experience however, these “breeder Boxers” are some of the most resilient and appreciative Boxers we’ve seen. They enter our foster homes with a sense of relief and an eagerness to please.  Tessa is no different.

Tessa was pulled from the shelter on 12/24 and taken right into foster care.  She is completely potty trained, letting you know when she needs to potty.  Tessa is a little underweight, however will be gaining those needed pounds in no time She is current on vaccines and is now spayed.  Tessa’s foster home consists of two pugs and two cats.  Tessa’s foster home is working to help Tessa get used to cats and she is coming along.  She is great with other dogs.  Tessa knows basic commands such as “sit,” lay down,” and easily gives paw and rolls over.  Tessa hasn’t exhibited signs of any aggression whatsoever.  Instead, she loves to give gentle Boxer kisses.  Tessa has given birth to many, many puppies in the past. It’s now time that she be babied herself where she will finally be treated as she should….a truly loved member of a family!  If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, please complete an adoption application found under the Adoption Tab at the top of this page.  If you are pre-approved and would like to share your heart and home with Tessa, please simply call (856) 889-0832 or email fassasfriends@gmail.com.
