Please meet Fassa’s newest Friend, Cain! This guy is an 8 month old purebred white boxer! He is a stocky one, weighing in at about 50 lbs. Cain is truly a sweetheart in every sense of the word. He was surrendered by his family due to illness, family structure change and a list of other reasons. His family was no longer able to give him the time he deserved as a young pup! He is current on his vaccines, and will be neutered this week.
Cain has yet to meet a human (toddler age to adult), feline, and/or canine he doesn’t like. In short, Cain just enjoys everybody whether 2 legged or 4 legged! He is being fostered right now with a cat, a maltese, a 3 year old and a 12 year old; and of course his foster parents. Cain has learned a few signs (“come, good boy, no’) at this point. You see, he’s deaf. Everyone in Cains new foster family is committed to increasing Cain’s signing vocabulary and reinforcing the signs he knows. Only an hour or so in his foster home, the toddler was giving Cain the “Good Boy” and “No” signs. Because Cain is deaf, his fur-ever home is required to have a completely fenced in yard. Cain’s ideal home will also have a dog that he can follow and learn from (and of course play with!) Cain is potty trained and is learning to walk better on a leash as now and then he will pull.
As we learn more about Cain, we’ll keep you updated. For now, if your the right match for Cain and interested in meeting him, please complete an Adoption Application under the Adoption Tab at the top of the page.
