UPDATE: 8-1-12: Portia, Paco Taco, Pink and Popeye were all fostered together.  Of these 4, Popeye and Pink have been adopted.  Also of these 4 pups, the foster home has reported that Portia was the calmest.  Portia is a great little pup and is growing into quite a little beauty. Portia has a beautiful chocolate brown undercoat that is noticeable in the sunlight. Take a look at her new pics!  Portia’s foster home will be leaving for  vacation the weekend of August 11th.  If anyone would be interestedin fostering Portia for just a week or two beginning 8/11/12, it would be greatly appreciated.  Please email or call if you can help out.  Look at that face!

——————————————————————————————————————————————-Please meet another of Sheila’s puppies, Portia! Portia  is a beautiful female boxer-mix. Portia, her siblings and Mom, were found in a ditch, obviously dumped like trash!  Luckily they were all found and are now in rescue searching for some great fur-ever homes.  They all deserve fantastic homes, especially after experiencing such a devestating start to life. Sheila had done a wonderful job taking care of her 8 pups. Despite their meager beginnings all of Sheila’s pups are healthy, happy little ones.  Portia is no exception.  She is a beautiful black and white, 11 week old boxer mix pup.  She has a natural tail and ears.

She has had her first two series of vaccines, a bordatella vaccine and has been dewormed twice even though no intestinal parasites were evident aafter the first de-worming.  This is however, our vet’s protocol for intestingal parasites.  Portia as all of the pups have tested negative for cocsidia and giardia as well.  Our vet had stated at their last visit on 7/7, that the puppies are in excellent health.  Though a fence is required for all of our young pups, there is no specific type because Portia isn’t a climber.  She’s content to stay put!  She is a sweet little pup and is easy going with just the right mixture of  play time and snuggle time!

As with all of our young pups, a basic puppy training course is required for  Portia and her adoptive family. Puppy training gives you the tools you need to teach your young puppies manners. It’s also great for bonding.  Portia is a quick learner and is learning to use the potty pads.  If you believe you’re a match for Portia, she is waiting to meet you!  Please complete an application at the top of this page under the ADOPTION tab.  It will only take a few minutes of your time, that will result in a lifetime of unconditional love from this sweet little girl! If you have any questions about Portia. please either email us at fassasfriends@gmail.com or call (856) 889-0832.
