Meet Fassa’s Friend, Sophie. Sophie is a 1 1/2-2 year old female, fawn Boxer and the mother of our recently adopted litter of pups; Sassy, Scrappy, Scooby, Spot and Smokey. Sophie has a black mask, docked tail and natural ears. She weighs in at 56 lbs. She is every bit as sweet as she is beautiful.
Sophie’s life, to this point hasn’t been easy. She was living in the woods and after several attempts, someone was able to catch her and her little pups. She took to her rescuers immediately. We believe she had previously lived indoors and has had contact with children. Though we 
have little history on Sophie, we have observed her with children as young as 3 years old and she just follow them around wanting to get petted or played with. Infact, Sophie just loves everyone and everyone she meets just adores her. She doesn’t jump on furniture, infact she enjoys just sitting by your chair while you scratch her head. She has just the right combination of playfulness and calmness. She is fine with other dogs as well. Her foster sister is a 13 year old small poodle and every now and again, Sophie will walk by her and just give her a big face lick! She likes car rides and will either lay in the back seat or look out the window, enjoying the view.
Sophie is extremely well-behaved and has learned to “sit” and “shake” almost immediately, therefore Sophie is also very smart and willing to learn.
